Own Your Reader is written and published by Litopia, a community for writers since 2005, founded by the literary agent and bestselling author Peter Cox. Its sister guide, Author Platform®, covers everything else a writer does to be found.
Peter Cox
Peter Cox has spent his working life on both sides of the publishing desk. His first book, Why You Don’t Need Meat, went to No. 1 on the British paperback chart and won the Booksellers’ Association award for the best nonfiction publicity campaign of the year. He has since written or co-written more than twenty books, among them Linda McCartney’s Home Cooking, a No. 1 British hardback.
He founded the literary agency Redhammer, which works across London and New York, and has represented authors including Michelle Paver, Senator Orrin Hatch, Martin Bell and Mike Nelson.
